Free Paper Shredding, E-Waste & Mulch Event!

The City of Lakewood and EDCO are sponsoring a FREE shredding event. A shredding truck will be available during the event, and all items will be shredded ONSITE! Limited to three banker boxes (10”x12”x15”) per household.

Unwanted electronics (e-waste) will also be collected, including TVs, computer monitors, printers, fax machines, DVD players, and answering machines. Household hazardous waste (HHW) material will not be accepted.

Also available will be free mulch for Lakewood residents (while supplies last). Residents, please bring your own cans/bags—limit of 3 cans/bags per vehicle. As a courtesy, Lakewood employees will shovel the mulch. If you plan to haul your mulch in an open truck or trailer, please remember to bring a tarp to cover your material.
